ExSel Design

The ExSel Design is one of the latest innovations of Porta/Grace Mfg.  It is unique in that it is an all steel galvanized frame package.  The main frames can be spaced at increments of 8', 10', 12', or 15'.  There are some limitations on the larger increments in heavier snow load areas.  This allows for a clean and neat interior appearance.  You can see the interior of an ExSel below.  The left picture is the frame of a 50x40 steel building.  The right picture is the frame of a 40x60 steel building.  The ExSel design is engineered to meet or exceed your local codes.

We offer an all galvanized steel frame including main frames and purlins.  When you purchase an ExSel All Steel Building from Porta/Grace you can be assured of long lasting durability and functionality.  Our products are made to last and last.  See below the construction details of some of our larger steel buildings.  Our buildings offer the most usuable space of any pre engineered building.  The galvanized frame keeps the building looking neat and clean for a lifetime.  Our frames are formed with 2½" 11 gauge zinc mechanical tubing and we use a 3" 14 gauge c-purlins for our roof purlins and wall girts.

Our larger buildings have a bolted center plate connection for ease of installation.
